grow-tools-heavy-duty-mechanical-timer
Grow Tools Heavy Duty Mechanical Timer

The Grow Tools Heavy Duty Mechanical Timer is a tough plug-in timer for grow lights. Plug it into the wall, plug your light into it, and it switches the light on and off for you every day.

If you keep herbs or seedlings on a stand, this takes the remembering out of it. No more finding the light still on at midnight, or realising it never came on before the school run. Your plants get the same steady day and night, even when the week gets busy.

Built for real grow lights

Ordinary household timers can struggle with heavier lights. This one is made for the job. It handles inductive loads up to about 600W, so it works with brighter LED panels and older HID setups without needing a separate contactor.

Setting it is simple. Twist the dial to the current time, push the pins for the hours you want the light on, and leave it to run. There are 96 settings around the dial, so you can work in roughly 15-minute steps.

Why it helps at home

Keeps grow lights on a reliable schedule while you get on with the day

Works with plug-in LED bars, panels and many stronger lights

No apps or menus, just a clear mechanical dial

Dust cover helps in damp rooms and near watering

UK plug, ready for a normal wall socket

A good fit for

Plant stands and under-shelf grow lights

Herbs, seedlings and salads that need a long bright day

Heat mats or small fans that should run on a timer

The details

Type

Heavy duty mechanical 24-hour plug-in timer

Settings

96 pin settings, about every 15 minutes

Load

Up to about 600W inductive load, no separate contactor needed

Size

About 15.5 × 8 × 8 cm

Brand

Grow Tools, from the Eden range

In the box

1 × Grow Tools Heavy Duty Mechanical Timer with dust cover.

Set the pins once, and let your indoor garden keep its own quiet sunrise and sunset.
