Omega LED Grow Light Bars for Herbs & Seedlings (Twin Pack)
The Omega 9W twin pack is a grow light for herbs indoors: two slim 55cm LED bars, 9 watts each, made to keep seedlings, herbs and microgreens sturdy and green on a shelf or windowsill when daylight runs short.
Picture a January morning. Outside it’s barely light, but on the kitchen shelf a tray of basil glows under a soft white bar, leaves glossy and upright instead of pale and leaning at the glass. That small, quiet lift is what these little lights are for.
A gentle grow light for herbs and seedlings, all winter long
There’s real joy in the first sprout, and in pinching off fresh basil for tea when the shops only sell it wilting in plastic. These bars make that possible in the darkest months. They’re silent, run cool, and sip so little power that you can leave them to their routine without a second thought.
For home-educating families they turn any shelf into a living science lesson. Sow cress on Monday, measure it each day, and compare a tray under the light with one on the windowsill. The difference usually speaks for itself.
What you can grow under your Omega light bars
- Basil, parsley, chives, coriander and mint for the kitchen
- Pea shoots, radish and sunflower microgreens
- Cut-and-come-again salad leaves
- Tomato, chilli and pepper seedlings from February
- Rooting herb and houseplant cuttings
Small bars, a big lift for winter herbs
- Made for small spaces. Each bar is just 55cm long and 4cm wide, so the pair slips under a shelf, a cupboard or the tier of a plant stand.
- Silent and cool. No fan, no hum and very little heat, so tender leaves can sit close beneath.
- Pennies to run. Each bar draws just 9 watts, far less than an old fluorescent tube, and lasts up to 60,000 hours.
- Even, steady light. A 120° beam spreads light across a footprint of about 55 × 50cm.
- Grows with you. The bars daisy-chain, so you can add more as your indoor garden fills up.
Your questions answered
How high should I hang the Omega 9W bars?
About 20 to 30cm above the tops of your plants, with the two bars roughly 25 to 30cm apart for even cover.
How long should I leave grow lights on for seedlings?
Most seedlings and leafy herbs do well with around 14 to 16 hours of light, then a proper dark night. A plug-in timer makes this effortless.
Is this a full spectrum light?
It’s a cool 9000K white light from Samsung LEDs, tuned for young, leafy growth such as seedlings, herbs and microgreens rather than plants grown for fruit.
Can I fit them under a shelf?
Yes. At 55cm long they suit standard shelves and plant stand tiers, hung from the wire hangers supplied.
