The Spider Farmer Glow80 is a twin pack of 110cm full spectrum LED bars, 40 watts each: a long LED grow light bar set for wide shelves, plant stands and tropical houseplants, covering about 1.0m × 0.3m.

Can I hang the bars vertically?
Yes. They can be mounted horizontally above plants or vertically for side light.

Frequently asked questions
How many hours should I leave it on?
For most kitchen herbs and houseplants, 12 to 14 hours a day works well. Seedlings often prefer 14 to 16 hours, then a proper dark night.
How far should it be from the plants?
Fix the bars a comfortable distance above the tops of your plants, a little higher for seedlings, then lower them gently as plants grow. If leaf tips pale or bleach, give them a little more space.
How much electricity does it use?
At about 80W for 12 hours a day it uses roughly 0.96 kWh a day. At about 25p per kWh, that is about 24p a day.
Is it safe around pets and children?
Keep cords tidy and out of reach, and hang the light so curious paws or little hands cannot pull it down. Supervise watering near electrics as you would with any household appliance.
