Spider Farmer GlowBar25 LED Grow Light Strips for Multi-Tier Shelves (8 Pack)
The Spider Farmer GlowBar25 is a set of eight 885mm full spectrum LED strips, 25 watts each, made for multi-tier shelves and taller plant stands. Two or more bars per level turn a rack into a proper indoor growing shelf for salads, herbs and strawberries.
Where the GlowBar10 and GlowBar20 suit smaller shelves, the GlowBar25 stretches further: longer bars, more diodes per strip, and an eight-pack that can light several tiers at once. It is the set for households that grow on height as well as width.
Long strip lights for multi-tier plant stands
Growing up is how small homes grow a lot. Clip bars under each shelf and every level gets its own gentle, even light. Salads on one tier, herbs on the next, strawberries lower down: the whole stand stays productive through winter.
Choose fixed output for simple everyday growing, or the dimmable set when seedlings and mature plants share the same rack. Soften the light for young trays, then bring it up as leaves fill out.
What you can grow under your GlowBar25 strips
- Lettuce, rocket and baby spinach across whole shelves
- Herbs: basil, mint, parsley and chives
- Microgreens on every tier
- Strawberries and dwarf chillies in pots
- Seedlings and leafy houseplants in darker rooms
Eight long bars for serious shelf growing
- Eight-pack. Enough bars for several tiers; about 25W per bar, around 200W for the full set.
- Long format. Each bar is about 885 × 33 × 32mm, suited to wider shelves.
- Full spectrum. Cool white, warm white and red light for leafy crops and fruiting.
- Fixed or dimmable. Match the control style to your plants and preference.
- Splash-aware build. IP65 rated bars with clear covers, plus a mounting kit of clips, magnets and ties.
Your questions answered
How is GlowBar25 different from GlowBar10 and GlowBar20?
It is the longer, higher-output strip in an eight-pack. Use it when shelves are wider or you want more tiers lit from one set.
How many bars per shelf?
Two bars per tier is a good starting point for even light across a row of pots. An eight-pack can cover four tiers that way.
Can I mix dimmable and fixed bars?
Yes. Many growers keep dimmable bars over seedlings and fixed bars over mature herbs on other shelves.
Are they safe near watering?
Each bar is IP65 rated with a protective cover, so ordinary humidity and light splashes are expected in shelf growing.

Frequently asked questions
How many hours should I leave it on?
For most kitchen herbs and houseplants, 12 to 14 hours a day works well. Seedlings often prefer 14 to 16 hours, then a proper dark night.
How far should it be from the plants?
Fix the bars a comfortable distance above the tops of your plants, a little higher for seedlings, then lower them gently as plants grow. If leaf tips pale or bleach, give them a little more space.
How much electricity does it use?
At about 200W for 12 hours a day it uses roughly 2.4 kWh a day. At about 25p per kWh, that is about 60p a day.
Is it safe around pets and children?
Keep cords tidy and out of reach, and hang the light so curious paws or little hands cannot pull it down. Supervise watering near electrics as you would with any household appliance.
Does it have a UK plug?
Yes. It uses a UK plug.
